I would brought you some but no cans. Sorry. Was surprised and pleased at the mileage. Almost as good as summer. Once the truck warms up the mileage climbs nicely. But if I don't run 40-50 miles it stays in the 16 MPG range. Just takes forever for the transmission to warm up. By the time I reached the NH border I was still at an average 15-16 MPG. By the time we got to Maine I was up to 19.2 and that was on back roads.

But I do need to rinse the salt off. I'm embarrassed how white the truck is. And you'd love the snow in Maine - driveways are surrounded by 6-8 foot piles of snow. Makes it really dangerous trying to get out of driveways. Lots of sleds out.

Good morning Woodchuckers, happy March! Only 18 days to spring, and they are talking 60's here by Sunday!

Geeze Pat, you'll really have to suck it up at 60. Tough duty - must be you did turn the reactor up. Temps here supposed to stay in the cellar -5 tonight. Maybe 30 today, then the rest of the week a bit lower. Enjoy it.

Morning Shawn. Well, maybe those temps will work their way east next week.

Just pull a few more rods from the pile. It'll warm up.

67nukeford 03-02-2015 08:07 AM

I'll box up a fuel bundle or two, and send them out to you.....LOL

BIGKEN 03-02-2015 08:26 AM

Morning Varmints...and...wannabees...couple inches of white crap to clean up here this morning...more an annoyance than anything else.

Shawn...no need to import fuel rods from Nebraska...just head down to Vernon...they have plenty of them.

67nukeford 03-02-2015 08:37 AM

Hi Ken! Oh, yeah, he could get a couple from Vermont Yankee, they won't be needing them anymore!!LOL

BIGKEN 03-02-2015 08:48 AM

Howdy Pat...he'll save on shipping...pick them up at the plant.

67nukeford 03-02-2015 08:50 AM

Yep! Might need a trailer, though, they may be a little long for his SuperDuty!

BIGKEN 03-02-2015 08:51 AM

Maybe Don will haul them for him...for a price of course!!! :-X04

I have an 18 foot trailer - will that work. The Yankee rods at Vernon are all worn out. I want fresh hot stuff. Glow in the dark kinda heat!:-X22
