Do the converter too. Between dropping the pan and draining the converter you'll get about 90% of the fluid out. While you have the pan off lay it on a flat surface and see if any of the holes are distorted from over tightening. Use a hammer to tap the edge flat.

In order to drop the tranny pan , I have to drop the skid plate. I see I need to remove 2 large bolts (each side) connecting skid plate by the rear of the trailing arms. Also the 2 bolts in skid plate (each side) at top of frame.
What about the 4 nuts right in the center of the skid plate, do they need to be removed ??? I am not sure what exactly they are connected to.... hhmmmm. |
