I just saw that an online seller who carries the Pioneer FRA205 says its a replacement for E0A-6375-A. I think it must be a typo that the Z is missing.

My 5.8 is kind of a mesh of parts. All stock, but from many different years. The long block is from an 84, I was told its the HO, but I never verified. The intake is from an 88, and the valve and timing covers and injection original from my 95.

As far as tips go, I tried using the EGR pipe from the the 302, but it was a no go, had to get one for the 351. Same for the PCV valve, had to get the 351 adapters and hoses.

And from at least 95 up the 4r70w was the auto trans used behind all the 302s.

Yeah let me know if you have any questions, im still working some bugs out of my engine, maybe your swap can help me too

E0AZ (or EOAZ) 6375-A / Available from Ford

MSRP: $98.22 // FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price: $72.39.

Whenever there's a ZERO as the 2nd digit of a part numbers prefix, it can also be typed as the letter O

While E0 is correct, most times when the number is inputed into websites, EO predominates.

I would never have guessed that about the 0 and O. I figured it had to be the right one.

Hmm... I may opt for the OEM one from Tousley Ford since its only 20 bucks more than the one from Orielly's. I'll have to think about it.

1996 351 flywheel to a aode tranny

blue rebel so you used the 205 flex plate on this engine switch? Reason I asked is I also did this engine switch 96 f 150 4x4 from a 302 to a 351 using the aode tranny. I messed up using the 351 existing flywheel so I wanted to make sure you used the 205 and not the 105 flywheel. Conanski has been helping me as well invaluable help in getting this right. It's all confusing this Ford Flex plate thing. Thanks

Thats what i said 4 years ago. Probably right, i checked the invoice and everything lol. But i had the 4R70W transmission, not the aode.

dozernsasha 01-17-2016 11:25 PM

Thank you for your response. The aode n the 4rw70 is the same exact transmission minus the electronics an gears inside but same casing etc.. This is where I messed up using the 351 flywheel that was hooked up to the newer e4od tranny. Offset is different from the flywheel used on the 351 to 4rw70 or aod trans, same weight 28oz but offset is diff makes a difference. Thanks again don
