Only two weeks now. Have a couple weeks in Aug as well but that is for improvements in the planer. Prices are forcast to rise some. Just need the dollar to drop some.
Going to try to get a garage sale going. Probably going to go and spend a couple nights in chase with family. |
Sounds like the mill you work at is a farely well run operation. We are lucky here as the PIR mill here is super effecient, mostly because it produces 35% more in a shift then it was designed for.

As much as it sucks money wise Chris, try and make the best of it.
Postho here in FTE will help. Heck come visit me if you like. Go camping, fishing, reno the house if need be, or whatever passes time, and soon you will be back at work. |

Producing more than plan is a good thing. It makes what you produce cheaper to produce. We have been pretty lucky here compared to most I guess.
Going camping in Chase for a couple days at the end of the month. I was thinking of pulling my turbo and cleaning it. Need to change a tire on the 5th wheel. Build myself some wheel chocks. Sort through a bunch of crap for a garage sale. |
Maybe I'll do a turbo relearn and listen to how the vanes are moving. If it sounds ok then I'll probably just leave it.
