Stupid starters freezing up! The one on my 94 froze up yesterday, and again today. Makes me mad. but what gives me the most crap are the stupid locks on my toolbox that freeze shut every time they get a chance :-X09 |
The cold weather isn't as bad as you think once you're acclimated and what not. I remember it was around ten degrees for a week and I thought it was pretty damn cold. As soon as it warmed up to like thirty degrees I thought it was pretty warm out lol.
But now i'm back to my 40-50 degree weather so 30 degrees is cold again. -_- |
I keep a can of that lock de-icer in my pickup, for my topper lock just so I can get in it. I'm sure if I wouldn't have been out playin in the snow, the engine compartment was packed with snow, I have ice hanging everwhere under there. It looks like a freezer under there(well - the food. Lol)
I hope there arn't engines in your freezer lol.
Lol. Nope. None in there. Lol. Not really lookin forward to fixin my pickup tonight.......
Yeah me too. How am I supposed to steal a broken truck?
Lol, I just realized, both of my pickups are broke. The wheeler is still stitting in the garage withbroken shafts, n my 94 doesn't start. Lol.
Well damn! When's the new shafts coming?
Well I have a outer, just need a inner and a ujoint.
Get on it! You need your wheeling rig up and running. ;)
Well I just got done fixin my 94. Converted it to the old style starter, that just uses the fender solenoid.

thats one way to eat starters LOL You Canuks are crazy We plug them in when it hits 40 degrees, too much oil in the pan to let it get cold. Hard on starters too.. When it gets down to 10 deg. we do not run the machines. |
