Yeah I was 20 minutes from my house and 30 minutes from the tranny shop when the c clip broke into 3 peices on me Ken. Was interesting to say the least. And it happened at 4;30 in the afternoon. With my location at the time it home was the easier option. Still ran great though when I traded it in. I had the larger oil pan on it as well. Held 7 quarts instead of the normal 6 quarts.

Hmm interesting about the larger oil pan and the adventure home when that happened

Yeah it was Cory. I figured out I had the larger oil pan when it was time for thefirst oil change. Put teh 6 quarts in and ran it while I checked for leaks. Shut it down and went in to get a drink and take a quick break. Came out 5 minutes later and it was a quart down. Put in an extra quarty and it was right where it needed to be. Was odd. Also ran a mix of 3 quarts if 10w30 and 5 quarts of 15w50 in it to keep the valave train quiet. Also used full synthetic. Ran great.

Yeah it was wierd but ran great. When I had traded it in. I was runnning 55 watt halogen driving lights on teh rear bumper for back uplights that I controled off a switch on the dash. I had fog lights up front. I had a 10 disc cd changer in it as well as a decent headunit at the time. HAd 6.5" 3 way speakers in teh door that I had to run cables to and 6x8s behind the seat. Also had a cb mounted to the cab roof since I didnt have a head liner.

COry I had these mounted right under the bumper and right in line with my rear wheels. Had the angled out a little bit so I could see when I was backing up at night.
