Low front came through causing some pretty good rain showers. That pretty much washed the smoke from regional forest fires. Blue sky's again today and can actually see the mountains. Wife making a big pot of chili, Texas Style, to celebrate the clean air and cooler weather.

I prefer a SweetWater Brewing Company beverage because they are somewhat local, make a damn fine APA and have humorous cans...

David,
What part of the country are you in? Never seen that label before. We get Sam Adams out here and we also have Sierra Nevada, which used to be a fairly local brew, but they have opened a new facility back Est but I don't recall exactly where.
Cheers!

Shiner Bock whenever I'm in the Great State of Texas! Right now relaxing in a bar in Logan Airport waiting for Hurricane Jose to let me go home tonight.. Of course it's Sam Adams up here.

My wife would have a different approach to celebrating the cleaner air... she wouldn't feed me anything that would re-foul it. However... we do keep a case of Beano on hand for such occasions. She's always so curteous to remind me to take it.

Nothing wrong with that! Sam Adams is a great beer.

The only really upsetting thing is, every restaurant/bar charges import price for Shiner even though it is made just down the road..... LOL

Some places think they are smart and label it "premium"

I'm a gc. Mostly additions and remodel right now, as the clay to build new is still significantly higher than the cost to buy and remodel used homes in our area.
