Saleenguy 06-12-2009 10:20 AM

Good Morn'n BC and visitors.

One night a police officer was staking out a particularly rowdy bar for possible DUI violations. At closing time, he saw a fellow tumble out of the bar, trip on the curb, and try his keys in five different cars before he found his. Then he sat in the front seat fumbling around with his keys for several minutes. Everyone else left the bar and drove off. Finally he started his engine and began to pull away. The police officer was waiting for him. He stopped the driver, read him his rights and administered the Breathalyzer test. The results showed a reading of 0.0. The puzzled officer demanded to know how that could be.The driver replied, "Tonight I'm the designated decoy.".

Thanks for the joke Sean, that was good.

J all I have to do is keep the kids from spilling on this new one.

How are things in smithers today my friend.

J_E_Summit 06-12-2009 11:37 AM

Looks like its going to be another beautiful day in the bulkley valley. Its been one of the hottest, dryest junes that I can remember. Which is nice in some ways and bad in others as the pasture is drying up and hay could be more expensive this year if it is a dry year.

That sucks Zip, but at least you get to go and earn a pay cheque, think of the upside buddy.

Saleenguy 06-12-2009 03:30 PM

Saw a guy driving a SWEET race car on the road today.
Man it looked and sounded cool.....Shook the ground at an idle.
I assume the plates on it were just pulled off of another car, as it would be totally illegal to drive on the roads, but still cool.

J_E_Summit 06-12-2009 03:31 PM

Zip, I have another upside for ya. You will be away from your computer and not have to put up with our razzing:)

Ya Jason, you really do pick on the old guy a lot.

J_E_Summit 06-12-2009 03:38 PM

Well, it seams like others jump in pretty quick.

Oh and Chris, I hope you didn't take it to hard as it was all meant in fun.

Also, I fully expect to get picked on in return.

It was formerly ( and I am guessing here) an 1980's something Camaro, but it was extensively modded into a drag car.
No lights, pleglass windshield, and window nets on sides, drag tires, wheelie bars, motor stuck up about a good foot or more than there would have been height for had the car actually had a hood on it.

I think the guy needed to move it.
He drove it slowly and cautiously, but i saw him driving for a good 5 kms.
We were stopped beside each other at a red light and it nearly shook my teeth out.

Damn that feels cool !!!:-drink

IMO, that thread is one of the very few good threads in the Club section anyway. Im all for supporting the site, but I wouldn't pay the money just for that section.

A drunk man who smelled like beer sat down on a subway next to a priest. The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket.

He opened his newspaper and began reading.

After a few minutes the man turned to the priest and asked, "Say Father, what causes arthritis?"

The priest replies, "My Son, it's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, too much alcohol, contempt for your fellow man, sleeping around with prostitutes and lack of a bath."

The drunk muttered in response, "Well, I'll be damned, " then returned to his paper.

The priest, thinking about what he had said, nudged the man and apologized.

"I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to come on so strong. How long have you had arthritis ?

The drunk answered, "I don't have it, Father. I was just reading here that the Pope does.

J_E_Summit 06-12-2009 07:05 PM

Oh, and you aint supposed to have open booze bottles on the subway:)

J_E_Summit 06-12-2009 07:11 PM
