Good morning race fans, campers and the rest of ya.

Working around the place today.

Hope ya all have a good day.

Had to hit the ER yesterday. All is well, just bronchitis. ER Doc scared me when he thought I could be in congestive heart failure... Geez... Thankfully that was negative.

Roy - glad you are enjoying the vacation. One of the good things about being retired with a little one is the ability to spend a lot of time with them. Good for all of you. I agree with your post that none of us judge each other only here to help and support. Provide our own experiences to help guide each other.

Gerry- get what you want, IMHO, I've settled, regretted, and traded early because of it...

Steve (sgt93) - glad all is well with the new ride.

Doug/Darren/Tim - hope all is well you guys.

The moose comment put me in a coughing fit, BTW....

Enjoying temps in the 40s at night and upper 50s in the day. (Thats In Fahrenheit for my Canadian buds)

Dak, good to hear from you again. Glad the doc was wrong with his initial impression. Perhaps he shouldn't throw around those terms without being more sure. Those temps sound nice. It is 97° and 50% humidity here - although it feels more humid than that. Hope you get settled in soon.

Tim Young 06-22-2014 02:33 PM

Dak, Glad you didn't have anything serious going on. The temps sound pretty good, a little low on the high side, between 60 and 70 sounds better. Are you enjoying the long days?

Had a doctor tell me my liver might be done, when it turned out I had stomach ulcers, ROR. I never touched alcohol in my life.
