Great, of the two of us I am the one that is always running hot. That means if one of those damn snakes is able to slither into our tent I'm most likley the one the snake is going to want to snuggle with :-X04 That'll be OK with the wife, I guess.

I got it, I'll just post a "NO SNAKES ALLOWED" sign outside the tent openings. :-jammin

A couple discovered a huge python hitching a ride in their car. The slithery squatter sneaked underneath the bonnet of Marlene Swart and Leon Swanepoel's car while they were on holiday at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. They were on the look-out for lions when the five-metre python shot out of the grass and disappeared under their car. When the snake failed to reappear Marlene and Leon were forced to endure a three-mile journey knowing the python was somewhere inside their vehicle before arriving at the nearest lookout point.Picture: CATERS NEWS

For those camping, grab a box of mothballs and spread them around the perimiter of the camping area. Snakes hate that smell.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to pick up a box. When the wife asks what they're for I'll just tell her Doc told us because it's been so damp down there the mice have gotten bad. She doesn't like mice either but she dislikes them a lot less than snakes. :-X04

You might need to call the TurtleMan, I think he is in that area, he'll come in and clear them all out for you, at least that's the way its works on TV. :)

Down to the last few days before we head out. I think I am as ready as I'm going to get. Everything is done except load up the truck. Hope you all have a great/safe trip, we will see you there Friday.

Did anyone see Turtleman a couple of weeks ago when the cute little dark haired girl was in the hog wallow to get the snapping turtles out that were biting the hogs. Well if so that little cutie is my niece Cole' Hensen, Turtleman lives outside of Danville,Ky and thats where my brother lives. Cole' fully time job is for the courts system for battered women and children, suits everyday but at home or on weekends she is pure REDNECK.

Just because the PO put a Ch*vy in my truck doesn't make me a snake! I have already promised that when I win the lottery I am going to get rid of it and put in a Ford racing crate motor. So far no luck...:-X19

What day are most people arriving? I was going to come Saturday, but I may be able to swing Friday if the stars align.

If all works out, which it never does, we'll be there some time Friday.

I still have to do a few things to the F-2 but she'll be there.

raytasch 09-09-2012 08:39 PM

I plan on arriving Friday mid afternoon.
