Ed from Philadelphia confirmed he is coming.

I am running a soccer camp for our club this week. We got 71 kids. I plan on really pushing this next week.

Well, it doesn't look good for us. I was really looking forward to firing up the old F-2 and heading east but I highly doubt we will. I'm really bummed out about it. Oh well, there's always next year or the next or the next.

I have been putting a lot of miles on the old girl working out all the little bugs so i could drive the truck back home to PA and show it off.

Every time I mentioned driving it home the wife looked at me like I was crazy. Unfortunately I won't be able to do it this year. I'm having arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder the following week and will be out of commission for a while.

But there is always next year!

We'll hold you to that for next year!

What's wrong with your shoulder? My shoulder doc says I need a new shoulder on my left. It is bone on bone, no cartilage left. I can't figure it out, I'm right handed, never played organised tackle football or wrestling, didn't work construction for more than 6 or 7 years, never in a car accident.... I plan on doing it in January.

Man, there's something going on here. I'm also having shoulder problems. My right shoulder has been giving me trouble for the last few months. I am going to a chiropractor to get it taken care of. I had the same problem four years ago and he was able to get it pain free in a matter of a month or so of treatments. He's trying a new method that takes longer but is supposed to hold longer.

As for the F-2, I've been driving the wheels off of it as much as I can. My daily driver, '04 Dodge, has been laid up with aging problems of it's own lately so the F-2 had to be called into service. I don't know if it's my imagination or not but it seems like I've been getting a lot more thumbs ups and "What year it is?" "Great looking truck" than I've gotten in the past.

Trip to PA isn't completely dead but is on life support.

I had a bone spur removed from my left shoulder about 5 years ago. It is more of the same, but I also have an impingement. I can golf with no issue but can't reach back or behind me without pain. So I get to have surgery on it again. then months of PT. Oh joy!

My left shoulder has a dull ache most of the time. It hurts when I try to put my arm out the truck window. It is difficult to wind my old banjo click with my left hand. etc, etc, etc. And it's getting harder to steer my trucks at slow speeds.

Bob, I hope you can make it. Hope things pick up for your business so you can make it here.

Me too. One of the reasons I want make the trip is I'm not getting younger and I can feel the effects of age creeping up. We never go anywhere so the few truck meets we've gone to were extraordinary events for us.

Who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery.

Well....I guess like are trucks we are old!...... no shoulder issues ...but 7 knee surgeries under my belt..was ..supposed to get a replacement in 2014....... but just like my old fords I keep going!....... I am thinking even if I hop in my new f-150 (it is a ford truck) and ride up for the day it would be nice to meet everyone...

We took the little camper this past weekend to Promised Land state park to try it out. Went to Gifford Pinchot’s home Friday. Grey Towers. His parents built it as a summer home. I think they said it had 32 fireplaces when it was built.
