Put the rear view mirror back on Lafawnduh, the kits sure have gotten expensive. They used to be a couple bucks.

warmed it up again, got 10 more inches of snow again, and made sure it was warm enough to melt the crap off, also started debating if I want to move to a place like Nevada or Arizona...LOL

Installed my new 10in sub yesterday. It can have a lot of bass, but I dialed it down just so you can hear it and feel it a little. Similar to how it sounds in my escape with a factory 8.

Nothing makes an older Ford look younger than a new set of headlights. These are Ford Lightning headlamps and Harley Edition corners. Installed them in the cold rain because my wife was excited about them. Thank goodness for Gortex.

Old ones were different, and very clouded. Whole set for $60. Thanks to a global economy and cheap overseas labor.

I've replaced the front drive line U joints on the F350 earlier, today the rear seal and bushing on the transfer case, Now I need to figure out what type of ATF to fill it with. It's a ZF5 and BW transfer case.

Mercon 5 only is what everything I read says. My parts guy confirmed too. It ain't cheap.

Others have used regular ATF, synthetic ATF (Mercon 5 is synthetic) and even 5w30 motor oil to quiet them down.
Mine has the gear rollover noise in 4th unless I rev it a little in 3rd and I am considering trying something else.

Nothing too exciting today other than hauled some presto logs for the fire place. Sadly I could not haul a whole pallet in the bed. Roughly 2,300lbs I think.

I need some new leaf springs in the back end. It squated way too much

Picked up new ford gray hi-temp engine paint by dupli-color for my 88.

Took about 15minutes looking at colors trying to decide between black, old ford blue, new ford blue, new ford gray, and aluminum.
Decided aluminum and the blues were to bright for my tastes and black if I ever got oil leaks would be hard to trace so que the original color new ford gray. LOL

Also picked up some valve spring compressors hopefully at least one of the 2 will work and I can get my heads together.
Trav

If I ever had that generation truck, those are the lights I'd get.
