I finally replaced the 12v powerpoint plug. I had a spare aftermarket one, so I simply swapped them out.

Voila! Now I have both charging ports back.

I just about killed my engine, the oil pressure sending unit started pissing oil on my way to work..by the time i got there i had maybe 1/2 a quart left. shut it down right away when i noticed what was going on. we filled it back up and fired it up...the loud tapping stopped...luckily no knocking or rattling but at least one lifter is stuck. so this weekend it will be getting all new lifters. Hopefully it'll be okay!

Today I went to a friends' house and checked the compression on 5 of the 6 cylinders (It got too dark for #6).

Here's my findings:

#1: 137 psi
#2: 133 psi
#3: 133 psi
#4: 133 psi
#5: 150 psi*

All plugs were roughly .054" gaps; So I just re-gapped them at .054" and called it good.

Upon pulling the #5 Plug Wire off the Plug, the little metal connector out of the boot. So no idea how long it's been like that. Friggin' Duracrap Plug Wires.

That's the DL for my 1992 F-150 with 220,550 miles.

Got Next to New Interior Trim and some Rust free Fenders for the 95.

Used mine to take off a small load of scrap to clean up around the house. Picked up a wooden pallet on the way home to make some projects with.

Said goodbye to those ugly plastic side moldings

Today I took on the beast of job removing the plastic side moldings. I just used a stiff plastic scraper and some Turtle Wax adhesive remover. Looks much better w/o them, IMO.

Anybody found a less expensive way to create a new headliner board? My cardboard is old and falling apart. I've redone plenty of headliners before but only on the better particle type board.

What tail lights do you have there..? Now your making me want to take mine off! It looks real good! Do you also have cab lights?

1993_F350:

I just have factory replacement lenses ordered from Autozone. I do have cab lights but I'm not sure if they're staying. I just bought this truck three weeks ago and I'm trying to make it more "me". So far I've removed the toolbox, bed liner, bed rails. I've fixed a couple issues. Replaced the headlight and tailights lenses, Clarion CD player, Kenwood speakers, and all new Flowmaster exhaust (cat back). I'm trying to make it as much my style as possible before I send it off to paint.

Personally I love the way it looks now! Does it have tint? Is it black or dark green? Maybe add some meatier tires..

It has tint but it's pretty old. It's black exterior & gray interior. The tires are coming soon, these have some dry rot and need to be replaced anyway. I'm looking at doing Super Swamper NK tires. Thanks for the compliment. It looks great over all, but it just needs a few character adjustments. The one thing I'm having trouble getting a hold of is a factory style third brake light. Mine is burned up and so are the ones I've ordered on Ebay.

I know what you mean by makin it yours.. Do you have and pick and pulls or good junk yards close? Also what's she got for a motor and miles on it?

Crewcabber 06-09-2014 11:44 PM

Burned up? Change the bulbs to leds.

Evan_P 06-10-2014 01:13 AM

Cleaned it up, then did some more tweaking of the headlight alignment.
