Knocked out a few minor things this week:

-Replaced radius arm bushings, found out both radius arm shoulders are rusting away. Still trying to decide if I'll replace them with stock radius arms, or throw in a 2.5" lift with extended arms.

-Oil change, greased front end and u-joints.

-New header gaskets. Went with Fel-Pro this time, after reading about Evan's issues with Percy's gaskets, I was hesitant to install the set I've had for a year now. (thanks Evan)

-Removed AIR pump, which I had bypassed a year ago, along with the rest of the AIR system.

-Replaced serp belt tensioner.

-Bumped timing up to 14 deg BTDC.

-Had a set of new-to-me Michelin LTX A/S2 tires mounted and balanced, along with having the tire shop set toe. I replaced tie rods a few weeks ago, and lined it up quick with a tape measure. As fate would have it, 285/70/17s fit just fine, no rubbing. :) Reset the PSOM also, so the speedo is correct.

Still need to do pivot bushings, and decide what to do as far as radius arms go... suggestions are gladly accepted and appreciated.

Pulled the vent window out of the extra door I have to replace the leaky one on the dump truck

I didn't really do anything, but I watched my son change his first U-joint in what is now his '88. It felt good to watch someone else turn a wrench!

Fixed the leaking vent window in the 93. I just replaced it with a window from my spare door.

I want that garage. I can't even pull my truck into mine unless I want to scrape the cab on the bottom of the door. I haven't been able to do anything other than get mine dirty for a while.

Dude I love my garage. My house is small as hell but this was the selling point for me haha.

If I was single thats how it would go. I would go garage shopping and live in the house that comes with the garage I pick.

replaced the turn signal flasher relay. it quit on me last night on the way home from work. got pulled over for it and got a fix it ticket. so the one i got is sightly larger then the oem motocraft part and its resting right against the fuse cover . so any one know if this will hurt it and can i relocate it till i can find a motocraft replacement.

my moms garage is a huge 2 1/2 car garage with power convinced her to buy the house just because of the garage. glad shes nice enough to let me use it to work on my truck and keep all my tools there .

Disabled the power door lock in the driver door (love the smoothness and ease of the lock mechanism now). I also pulled the parking brake pedal/release mechanism. The ratcheting catch was stuck open not allowing the brake to be set. It needed wd40, some movement and then oiling....should be good for another 24 years and I can now park on a hill!!!

Today I put in a new serpentine belt and a new tensioner to get her running again. Gassed her up for $110 (hate that stupid $100 cutoff at the pump) :'( and ordered a quality bosch alternator at NAPA as the one from orilleys died after 30 miles and I wasn't going back to warranty it a 5th time. Also got an optima yellow top and while my buddy stupidly hooked up the battery he put the neg cable on the pos terminal and sparks ensured. The truck started right up afterwards but now my radio does not turn on at all :O Looks like my work ain't over yet lol...

Depending on what radio it is (manufacturer) they have fuses either in line or in the back of the radio itself. Obviously there is the one under the dash.

I didn't like the way my aftermarket gauges looked, so I'm re-doing the whole works. I'm taking pics this time. Thread coming soon.
