Yes, everything works. I just have to learn how to work all the pumps, etc. I was able to post a couple of pictures in my garage. Just click on 1967 Ford heavy duty under my username.

My father and I have a 1959 Ford C-600. Bought it at an Auction a few years ago. I would like to find a sleeper cab or a sleeper to add on to the truck any one know of any in western Ohio area

I have a 68 C700 Rollback we are rehabbing. Lots of fun unique stuff on these trucks! I am particularly entertained by the clutch and brake MC reservoir!

I got an N.O.S. set from V&H in Marshfield,Wis. ,a few years back. They had been a Ford Truck dealer for many years,but got out when FORD got out of the H.D. line. Don't know if they still have any of that stuff around? Good luck with your truck!

I bought 2 new widshields and 2 new gaskets from my local glass warehouse. They had them on the shelf. Nice truck by the way!

My 1966 C-750 has window seals that have the chrome trim inserts.

I doubt that I'll ever find any, as the newer trucks did not have all the pretty stainless doolollies that was standard in the 50's and 60's.

The stainless steel inserts were part of the "custom cab" option.... and not standard on any year of the low cab forward C series, or more specifically 1957 - 1990 model year trucks. Not sure what trim the 1956 and earlier C series had.

They and the rest of the goodies that come with the "custom cab" option check box really dress these trucks up.

Does anybody know if any new stereos will fit into the dash without having to modify it?

Well in my case the previous owner had cut the dash and put in a am/fm/cassette/cb unit which was dead. Since it was a two shaft design and not how they build most radios now days (DIN mounting) I bought a new old stock Medallion am/fm/cb (no cassette) off ebay and installed that. I did not have to make any modification over the previous owners and it works like a champ and I only have to have a single antenna as well as not having a cb hanging off or on top of the dash. Relatively clean installation.

Most people I am assuming modify the dash, but I wonder if any of the specialty shops that make modern radios look and fit like old ones might have something? Probably not going to be the most inexpensive way to go though.

I am not sure that you are going to have enough depth for a cd player though?

That sounds cool, how about using a remote to control it, then you could mount the actual little computer almost anywhere? Or are they not capable of using a IR device yet?

It has been a few years since I looked into one.
