Probably a dumb question.

I was attempting to modify the IPC as-built to put the temps on the gauges. When I select IPC and "start", I get a dialog box that says the feature should only be used to program the odometer when the instrument cluster is replaced. Selecting "OK" opens a new box with miles/km selection, and the next box allows a number input. I tried this twice and cancelled out of it both times.

The as-built never opens. Is this expected or am I doing something wrong?

2023 Lariat and I'll get the Sync version shortly....

can you post a screen shot of the selection choices. Sounds like you are one selection off.

You can do this without FORscan, as I have a 23 Lariat.
Using steering wheel buttons:
1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to "configure guages"
3. Slect "Tempature Guage"
4. Select "Detailed". (This put the numerics on the gauges. Standard is the default setting.)

You should be able to go into your instrument cluster and set the guages to display with numbers. The only one that doesn't have a number is oil pressure. You do not need FORScan to make this change. I've done this on my 23 XLT

2023-24 Super Duty spreadsheet

Good afternoon,

Question on the spreadsheet... specifically line 20 DRL w/turnsignal (Switchback). My question is, what exactly does that do? Does it turn off the DRL on the side that you turn on the signal?

Thanks, Mike

I have a 2024 Lariat and while my A/C is on with recirculating mode on, after 40m of driving on the highway the truck turns off recirculating mode to bring in fresh air. Recirculating mode turns back on after for 2m.

Does Forscan have the ability to disable this feature? In the manually it says this can happen as the truck things the windows are fogging or something. Mine does it all the time though, its annoying.

I have the same problem with my 2023. This guy claims he found a setting to change on his 2024:

I tried finding the setting on my 2023, but it doesnt exist. Maybe your 2024 will have it.

@ZooDad You've got me convinced it's time to learn ForScan.

For the "Auto Shutdown disable" issue on the 2023+ trucks you referenced as not working..... any thoughts on if or when it might be solved?

The heat isn't far away and I need a solution before it gets here. I'm looking at the "Idle On! Idle timer shutdown bypass device" in the YouTube videos links people have posted about from ParkerSystems / Merlin. I have the 7.3L and am only concerned about cabin temperature, understand the diesel owners may have other desires. Spending money on this fix and having the ForScan fix come out a week later is sort of my luck. Thanks ZooDad....

OK I have preliminary data points for the Cabin Climate thing.
I need to confirm with some additional data points

If some members can post up their values for the following AsBuilt line.
APIM

Also list your MY and trim level.
