ya i drill holes and got steel carbide studs, i wouldnt mess with that cheap aluminum or rubber studd junk. my wife has never needed 4x4 in the winter in alaska with the studds i put in on the excursion. you can buy different lengths according to tire wear, i ususally get them a little longer then the law allows.. ;) also buy them in packages of 1000 thats only about 250 a tire.

that was me. I bought the truck with the banks system installed already. Exhaust is very close to rear shock and I think it might hit it once in a while when there is axle movement.
Thanks for remembering. |

Well here you go...it's pretty tight but I checked today for any signs of contact and I don't see any.
I have reflex shocks. They might be a bit thicker. |

How come everyone has dents in their bumpers? :) Mine had a dent when I got it as well.
Jay, I think one of the greatest front end upgrades you could do is headlights. Either strait drop in 01-03's or the 05's which require cutting and pigtails and stuff. The extra light output of either one will make you glad! |
Put new pigtails on headlights this morning on the 2000 Ex.
Speaking of new headlights, what brand/make is everybody using, Ford oem or aftermarket, and and witch aftermarket brand? Not the builbs but the headlight bucket. Thanks |
With all these grill changes, I might have the unique truck with an original 2000 grill before too long. :)
+1 on the new lights. I added these to mine, eBay lights with no wiring change at all. http://www.ohioactionimages.com/EB/hl.jpg |
