    Dude said something about increasing the cid and shaving the heads; said something about puting a stroker kit in it, but i think that would be too expensive and i kinda want to do it myself instead of just having a shop do everything there is to do!!!!!!!!! anybody have any advise on the cid, or the shaved heads thing?

    I wonder how far is safe/ I think ima take it down to the marine shop and have the old man bore my block 40 over for 20 buks a hole! I hope he will, i had a two stroke boat motor done there.

    ima go head and break it all the way down and bore it out. I talked to my brother and he said that he has heard of people boring 60 over, but instructed me that it may be dangerous.

    I read a dill earlier about a dude that had a 302 like mine and claims to have gotten 600 hp out of it! Wow i didn't know you could do that.

    Maybe bore it out, put a cam in it, beef up the rear end and transmission. I need to figure out how to get all the max out of it from 1000 rpm's to 9000 rpm's.

    The small 302 i believe comes recomended for a 500 cfm carb but i want it to lope like an aftermarket built truck. i want raw horsepower for rock and mountian climbing as well as muddin. Its gona be some work but im looking foward to it.

    The 84 302 that's in it was changed over to a 2 barrel carburetor. Thats the way it was when i bought it. i recently put a edelbrock 600 cfm 4 barrel carburetor on it.

    Im Nathan. I own a 1980 model ford Ranger F150, has a 1984 302 small block v8. It has a 8 inch lift kit and a 4 inch body lift, 38 inch Super Swampers with 12.5 rims. This truck is going to turn into a hobby!!!
