    Yes actually you can do this the cam bearing journals are the same size. The complete roller cam assembly must be removed, that includes the 8 dogbones, spider that retains the dogbones, the roller lifters, the pushrods, and the cam. You need flat tappet lifters and pushrods to go with the flat tappet cam and also a cast drive gear for the distributor, and the cam must be broken in properly on startup.

    The big question though is why you would want to do this?
