Well, no luck, still no fire when I tried this. Any suggestions?

I just connected the starter relay to ground, then used the ignition to try to start it, I'm assuming this still sends the starting signal through the PCM? I'm going to test your theory first thing in the morning and will let you know what happens, basically I am going to run the starting system by it self without the signal going thru the PCM. If that doesn't work do you have any other suggestions?

I just reread your last message did you say while jumping the starter with the key on the engine spins but won't ground the injectors?

yeah you jumping the starter with the key on should make it start and run since the pcm will see an rpm signal and ignore pats, at least it should I don't get any customers asking about this so it's kind of a new area but from reading the description and operation in the workshop manual it should work

Sorry it took a few days to answer you, PATS only keeps your truck from starting, it will do that one of three ways one by disabling the starter, by disabling the fuel injectors or both, I'd recomend you try jumping your starter solenoid while the key is in the on position it should start and run,
