Thank you for your very-kind words! It means a lot to know it's noticed.
PVF is a great weatherproofing coating for steel lines, but is susceptible to some solvents. Though it's kind of unlikely that those chemicals will ever find their way to the inside of your fuel tank, we are never really sure what goes into de-icers and lubricity additives, so I'd tread lightly. Why not simply sand it off with medium-grit sandpaper and/or steel wool, and be done with it. It's only about four inches long on the pickup side. I have never seen a real need to have a long extended return line, anyway. And, raw steel won't get very rusty submerged in fuel oil.

Hey no rush, I saw you had the seats & wondered what they looked like & how much you want for them. I have a life too & I'm not on here every day. Relax All is well, this will work out just the way it is supposed too, whatever that is. I look forward to seeing the photos!

Hi Dennis Sorry for the late reply to you , my father in law has been very sick, now near death. The tailgate is gone, sorry I didn't hear from you.

hey journeymaaann sorry it only took me like 2 months to respond, I never saw your message until this morning. I would def. be interested in the tailgate. I have been looking for beds lately, and a lot of them come up without a tail gate. Let me know how much you want for it.

    Thanks
    Dennis

Thanks for the reps. I do hope the experienced members chime in as well. I know a lot of these ideas came from their previous posts and solutions so it would good to recognize them as well. I've been around FTE since 2003 myself but wasn't real active until the last couple of years.
