    Hey Dennis,

Do you still want to sell your old hood? I'm still VERY interested in buying it. If you need a hand removing it and installing your new hood, I can come over. Tomorrow is my last day to work before summer vacation. I'm in no big hurry. It was nice to meet your wife and you at the truck show. I trust you made it home OK?
    Regards,
    Tom

    Hey Tin,

Man, I totally missed that we're almost neighbors! If you need somebody to hang out with, email me at [email protected] and I'll send you my contact information. I'm a teacher, so I currently have a little time on my hands. I'm just trying to get my 53 F100 on the road before school starts back up. I hope you enjoy(ed) the show in TN!

    TinLizzy,

My heart goes out to you on many levels. I served for 25+ years in the fire service, I have held many a hand, too many times. As an Uncle, I lost my 10 year old nephew who lived 2 doors down the street from my house- it was very sudden & completely unexpected as well. I share this with you, Your son's warmth will continue from inside each person who he touched, family, friends, classmates & neighbors. from personal experience, sometimes we have to take it one day, one hour, or one minute at a time- just don't try to take it more than that. We all will get frustrated, mad, angry & tired.....it is something that we all will have in common. What I can tell you is this, In the up coming weeks, your thoughts will be focused upon the most recent events and then slowly begin to focus on more of his life, the better times that filled our minds & hearts, brought love & joy to each of us - that special moment that makes us family.

sorry to jump in last night on your post....say what you feel ..share your thoughts ..if you don't you lose what is important to you ..the pain will overwhelm you at the sound of a song ,or the sight of somewhere you have been together..everyone deals with it differantly ..this is my way..this is the way I don't lose all hope in the world..talking helps..it keeps your son in your heart and shares him with everyone ..take care ..Ken P
