    My camera is dead, but it is really easy to do. On the bottom inside edge of the new tailgate you will find two 8 or 10 mm bolts to remove. you can then use vice grips to grab the torsion rod and push/pull it toward the pass. side of the gate. the rod and attached center section will come out of the driver side circle mount. Put your plastic liner in therefrom your old gate, and you are good to go. The locks will swap out too, so do that also if yours is the locking one. hope this helps.

    Do you have any pictures of what you did? I dropped a trailer on my 2004 and the tailgate took all the damage. Looking to replace w/ a 2010 since it'll be cheaper than fixing off eBay. Trying to find the easiest way to do it.
