Hi! You said you have an old intake manifold you're willing to sell for my 4.9 I-6. How much are you looking to get for it. I'm in San Diego (92117). Most places want about $35 to ship it (UPS ground I presume); how much do you want for it including shipping? Do you have a PayPal account? Please let me know when you can. Thanks!

    Hi AbandonedBronco,
I have an '81 F100 with the inline six, SROD, and 3.55 gears in the back. It's pending a rebuild; Offenhauser DP Intake, EFI duals, Isky 256 cam, and a P&P. According to your thread on carbs, I should go with an Holley 600 over a Holley 390. I will be running stock wheel size, and was wondering what type of experience I should expect from this build. Thanks!

    Hey AbandonedBronco,
Do you still have the wiring harness for your 81 carbed Bronco?
You did switch it over to EFI right?

    Thanks, Captbs32

    Hey AB,
I have a 1980 F100 with 2.75 rear gears and the SROD and I am running 31 inch tires. I was wondering if you like the 3.00 gears in your Bronco, or if you had a chance to go with some deeper gears would you do it? I am toying with the idea of putting somewhere between 3.00 and 3.25 gears in my truck since I think it will allow me to get the same mileage as I had with the 235's/75 tires I previously had on the truck.

    Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the info, good stuff to learn from!

I'm not going to the 4bbl just yet but hope to soon!

The engine has 141 000 original kilometres, so around 90 000 miles? It's in pretty good shape (says my auto teacher).

Would I be able to just plug any vacuum lines that don't have a home from the new manifolds? I'm going to remove the EGR pipe and plug the holes.

    Thanks for all the info!

    Hey AB
I've got a carb'd '81 F-150 with a straight six and one day I'd like to have the same setup as yours (im 17 now and havent got the money yet). I've read that you have the holley 390 with a offy dp and the efi manifolds. I going to swap to the EFI manifolds pretty soon and i'd like to know if you got any tips on how to make things go smoothly. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Could you post me your sig.? As I remember it has some info, like mine, but more on engine upgrades/other specifics on the vehicle. Couldn't find it in my stuff or on your page n a fella wants to "go in your direction" w/his.
BTW: went to my 1st ever early Bronco 'fest' (actually 1st car show ever, alto this had ramps, obstacle course, etc) Sat. 150 of em (2 - 3 from 'your era')! Kinda cool...
    Thanks 4 your help,
