My name is Timoteo Salinas, and i'm starting to plan my rebuild of my 52 f1. I am currently living in Ft. Sill, OK. I was wandering if you would be able to help me out with the planning on the engine rebuild and locations of some good engine machine shops. I have some ideas but need to knowledge and experience on flathead V8s. I would appreciate your help. My email is [email protected]

Could you also send me the documents on the tilt front end, please. I'm looking into doing one and just want to see what kind of headache I'm getting into. Thanks, Terry. [email protected]

Mine is installed pretty simple. It has a frame around the grill area that goes down to 2 arms that face towards the front of the truck. two holes in the frame which is where the arms bolt to and pivot off. If yours is the same, set it on the truck, make sure you have it exactly where you want it and mark the spots on the frame, drill holes and put your pivot bolts in, done. Its really simple vs welding up the sheet metal front end and then making it pivot.
