    Hello smithwoods,

I am from Germany and I am proud owner of a 1977 Marrs Leisure Liberator 8' Truck Camper, probably the only one in Germany or Europe. It is in great unrestored condition with some careful upgrades on the inside I am working on.

I saw that you have a nice 1976 F150 with a truck camper similar to mine. My camper type was later renamed to Edson Liberator and build in Manitoba, Canada by the way.

What I don't have yet is a pick up truck. I am looking for something between 1970 and 1985.
But I am having a hard time finding out the payloads of the trucks offered and I am not sure to better go with a 150(0) or 250(0). My camper should be weighing 1250 lbs, plus son and wife in the front I would need 1700 lbs payload at least.

I would ratehr go for a 150(0) but I see 250(0)s with "Camper special" options, so even more payload and stronger wheelbase.

What would you recommend? And do you know a website with payload/ specs for vintage trucks?

    Brgds,
    Bjoern
