Hello Mark. I have a 2002 F-250 7.3 with a DPTuner and decel tune. I am having the same problem with the EBPV not closing when the engine is hot and found your 2014 post when searching. It's a bad surprise when going downhill in the Rockies with the 5er in tow! I emailed Jody and he suggested disconnecting the downpipe and cleaning the EBPV. I did that - not much room so I sprayed carb cleaner in it. Today tried it when towing in 90+ degree heat and it didn't close again. It does work when the engine isn't hot. Did you ever find and fix your problem that you described in your 2014 post? Would appreciate any tips!

I was wondering if you ever resolved your engine stuttering problem? Did you ever replace the MAP sensor?

Thanks for the reps! I've always liked your user name, btw. My truck is too slow for it to be appropriate for me though.

2002 EXcursion 7.3. replacing water pump and trying to remove fan clutch. My clinton manual says right handed threads. I've only seen posts on FTE being left hand treads. Help
