Hi Joe. Are yours TPI Tech brand. Digital also. IF so sell them fast. I would not use TPI Tech again. Speedometer never dials in correctly. Tach goes crazy constantly and I wont even mention the fuel gauge. I hope all is well with you

A friend of mine noticed a thread where you had asked what had happened to me, so decided to answer. If you are still interested, some unfortunate events took place between my family and I, and I was unduly ousted from the family business in the early seventies. And yes, Barry is my brother who now stands in my place.

Yes Ken, that is his 40. Thanks for the compliment on the truck. That was my first show in 48 years of hot rodding, I felt I should do it at least once. Joe

Joe, I saw your truck at the Starbird show yesterday. Beautiful job !! Sorry I wasn't able to meet you. I got some good info. on my 40 pu project while there. Lots of amazing machines on display and one of my favorites was the rat rod chevy pu (55/56 ?) built by some commercial airline pilot I'm guessing. It's the one with the propeller front bumper, log rear bumper, coach-class interior seats and tons of aircraft instruments. Too much fun! About Mike Higbee, is that his black 40 ford pu I see listed on ebay? The seller lists a Guthrie address.

Mike and I have been friends for probably 35 years. He never had a Willys, but has a 41 Ford woodie which he had when they left Tahlaquah. He had several others while there. Currently lives in Guthrie, still has 41 plus a really nice 40 pu. Joe
