Ended up getting a leftover 2017 XL STX dually 4x2 with the 4.10. Now looking for the RV!

That's great to hear regarding the 377. I am trying to stay with Grand Designs for the quality, but I really don't like the interior layouts of the Momentums. I have seen some Dutchmen that were more livable. And I would certainly prefer a DRV, but they are double the price. What did you think about the quality difference between brands?

I am about the pull the trigger on a F350 DRW as well as a Solitude or a Momentum. How do you like your 377? And did you look at any toy haulers?

I am leaning more toward a F350 2WD 4.10 for a better ride and lower stance, but they are hard to find. I'm also looking at some 4x4s with the 3.55. Any thoughts on the gear or the 2wd/4wd?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give on the purchase of the truck or RV!

i installed the bakflip mx4 a couple of weeks ago. i really like it. doesn't flop around like others i've seen. although if you have the tailgate step a little water will get in the very back. but very minimal. great for putting luggage, coolers, etc in back securely. i took it on a road trip to michigan and back. bout 700 miles one way. really didn't see any change in fuel mileage. oh, not sure i've seen too many posts on fuel mileage, but normal driving on highways and urban areas i have been getting between 18.8 and 19. doesn't seem to fluctuate much. thought the tonneau would help a little, but doesn't look like it. 17 f250 diesel.

Seen your post end of May where you was using an F250 pulling a 15K Fuzion 371 5th wheel. I was wondering if you had the 6.2L or the 6.7L diesel. I ordered a 2017 F250 CCSB 6.2L 4.30 4x2 with the camper package that will be arriving Wednesday. At the time I ordered my truck I had not planned to buy a 5th wheel that was 36' and going to weigh approx 15K -16K loaded. Looking at the Grand Design 328M 102" trailer. Hitch weight on the trailer will be 3050 when loaded. My truck looks like it is rated to pull 15,400 with payload 3700

My question to you is did your F250 pull 15K pretty well? Also what kind of gas mileage was you getting? I usually pull my smaller TH at 65-68mph and hoping to be able to do the same with this new toy hauler. I also live in Louisiana and most of my travels will be in east Texas and Louisiana so I want be in big hills. I'm just hoping it can pull that trailer pretty well and hoping to get 7.5-8 mph. Thanks for any information you can give. Mike

I saw your post in the thread about tonneau covers. I am about to take delivery of the same exact truck as yours, plan to install the exact same hitch, and am leaning towards the BAKFlip MX4 or F1 tonneau cover. Have you experienced any issues with the tonneau blocking the camera that views the bed? I am thinking I wouldn't likely fold the tonneau up against the back window, so seems to me the view down into the bed should be plenty clear enough to hitch up the 5th wheel. Can you confirm this? Thanks in advance for your assistance! Yours looks like an awesome truck, and I am climbing the walls waiting for mine!
