I'm new and have just started work on the vehicle i learned to drive on, a 1950 F1 with 3 speed manual transmission. It has been sitting for 25 years. I saw your post about the Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil for transmission. Are you still running that with success?

Also, is this ok to use in the differential or do you use something different?

What wiper arms did you use that worked best for you?
I remember you posted about them but forgot.

Hi Ross, Thanks for the comparison of cabs. If you don't mind, click back on that ad and double click the pick so it opens in full screen mode. The last pic and the 4th from last show the most rust. Most 64 year old cabs have rust, but the description on the CA one seems better. Maybe I should ask him for more pics. -John

Ross hi, I have a question on the air fuel mix gauge you have, ? is where do you put thr sensor. I have no egr port what would be the correct way to mount the sensor, weld in a bung at the header?? or into the intake manifold??

Ross I don't know how you do it. But last week (on the drunkin monkey thread) when you guessed that my toe measurement would be about 1/2 of the measurement I got using the tires as a reference, .Well I re measured with a straight edge 10"in both directions off the secured brake drums and it was exactly 1/2 of my original measurements just like you said. It measured 3/8" toe out. Oh and by the way I put a straight edge on the still installed tie rod and found a 1/4' bow in it. Ill post when my new parts come . Thanks again for your help.
