    Ok, I read back through that thread to refresh myself! I still say that replacing the valve body with a rebuilt one from is the best way to go. They do all the updated valving, flow patterns, updated plate, etc. Instead of messing with replacing individual solenoids (which add up fast in price), going with the fully rebuilt valve body was one of the best decisions I made. Even comes with a year warranty. I forget the name of the owner, but he let me talk his ear off for more than an hour one day explaining how the valve body works and explaining how I could do the solenoid testing.

    Hey there,

    I'm half was through reading your two year old post:

    Awesome. I'm hoping to get to a part where you figure out the thud/stutter from 1st - 2nd gear... from stopped. That is my issue and I'm hoping it's just a solenoid. regardless, your post is a good read. Would love to ask you some further questions if you are down? thanks - Josh
