    Hi JB Sisson,
A new member from Tucson here with a question about body parts. I just purchased a contraption that has a 1942 1 ton cab on it's Non-ford undercarriage. Although a purist at heart, this vehicle will fit the bill for my needs at present. My question is; are sheetmetal, trim, and glass interchangeable with smaller (and larger) rated trucks and if so, for which years? Thanks in advance Mrsocks (Kevin) ps; I will intro myself and possible post pics next time I sit at this computing machine!

    Mr. Sisson,
I happened upon an old post of yours in which you had offered for sale rims that would replace the widow makers on my 53 F-350. Are they still available. Thanks. John Paul

Hey, I went and looked at a couple more 47 jailbar fire trucks this morning. I think I can get them bought pretty cheap, 2000-2500 for the pair. One has 3000 miles and one has 10,000. Neither has been ran in 4-5 years but both are super clean and have usable tires.
I have to wait until this weekend to see if the guy comes after the 71 Caddy but if he does, I hope to swing a deal in about a week. There is also a nice 55 Ford fire truck and I ask for a package price with it. They have 15 fire trucks they are getting rid of. Macks, KBs, a 51 AD 5 window, a couple Seagraves, cool stuff.

I used to Live in Lake Stevens. Well, that was my mailing address. Getchell Road about half way between 9 and 92. Small world. I guess the next Monroe swap met is the spring now, huh. Thanks for checking in. Do you know Buddy Messick in Marysville? He parts out ford trucks and sells them on CL . Nice guy, semi retired.

This'll be the longest drive I've taken with the truck, so I'm probably going to do it in stages, and likely won't arrive 'til nearly noon. I'll text you when I get to the meet.
