Again, the CDs did not include emissions. They cover body, electrical, general maintenance, and everything engine related. It's a really good and details resource. For emissions, I also purchased a hard copy manual. I haven't used it much so far. Most of my emissions was not working, and will be completely removed during the rebuild (EGR, AIR pump, etc. to be removed). I ordered the manual in the link below:

I haven't used it extensively, but it seems to have a ton of information inside.

Other suggestion is that your truck should have an emissions sticker on the top of the radiator, showing where all the stuff goes. If not, try taking a look at the available emissions stickers on Gary's Garagemahal site. One of them might match your setup. Link below. Let me know if I can help further!

Hello, I apologize for not seeing your message earlier! For most other topics except emissions, I would recommend the factory service manuals. I purchased mine from RockAuto. They came in PDF form on a CD, or you can also purchase hard copies. I looked on RockAuto for 1982 4.9L 300 (I assume that is what you have?) and they weren't listed... strange. But the 1981 does have them, and this is what I bought. I assume it would be nearly the same for 1982, but possibly something changed. Here is a link:
