Alright so I still cant PM. My email is [email protected] and I would love the whole engine diagrams and the computer pinouts with names so I know where to put power to to make the motor run etc. Like the example I put in my post. Thanks!

Did you do a build thread on your 7.3 swap? If so I'd love to see it, I'm hoping to do the same thing with my 79 dent. Did you swap engines or did you put the body on a diesel truck chasis? I'm not sure wich direction to go, body swap to a newer diesel chasis or engine swap, any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you Jim

I would really like to see some more pictures of your powerstroke swap. Specifically how much room you were able to get at the firewall, how did you deal with the brake booster and where did you mount the pcm and idm?

Thanks a million, your write up you left on my profile helped me out a ton, and I planned on using the weather connector like you said. I cant tell you how much I appreciate this. Also how hard was it to mount the throttle (Since the throttle is electric) I dont think it would be that hard, but all the info I can get would help.

the DIY kits aren't too bad. they are comparable to rebuilding a carburator kinda. One thing is for sure, if your scared of lots of small parts then you probably don't want to do a DIY. Jim sends lots of step by step instructions with his kits w/ color pics on DVD. Mine came with the pre machine IP's. Allow yourself AT LEAST 8 hours of time just for the build process, that's not including the time it takes to take injectors out of the truck and reinstall. If you end up not wanting to build them yourself Jim also has some budget injectors that he builds for you along with some nicely priced premium injectors as well. you can get these stage 2's from him for like $885 if you get him to build them for you. so only $200 more for him to build them for you
