Abe what color is your grill on the truck. I bought a can of sungate ivory and need to know if it is the same as snowshoe white. I am painting my grill and wheels that color.

Abe, are you running a stock 6v generator on your 239?

I'm having a heck of a time figuring out the mounting for my stock generator. I think I have all the right brackets, etc., but the adjustment arm needs to mount of the engine somewhere. The manual almost shows the correct place the adjustment arm mounts to the engine, but not quite. I've looks at all the photos in the shop manuals - the mounting location is just out of the photos...

My 239 was converted to 12V with an alternator before I purchased it, so all the stock parts were gone. I am 100% stock so going back to 6V.

If you are stock, do you have a photo that show the correct mounting?

Abe can you tell me how to post a for sale ad? My truck is a 1948 Ford F6 Firetruck. I have hunted all over the site but am unable to locate where to post an ad or how to post an ad. If you are not the right person to ask please let me know who is. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Abe,
I've got an acquaintance looking for the original woven seat vinyl. Do you have any idea if there's still some to be found?

Thanks, I just edited my profile to show my location.
Soon the weather will break and will be posting parts for sale. Over on the H.A.M.B recently gave away a 1956 Ford, to someone that would save it.
Sadly the grand kids came over and sent a huge load of sheet metal, doors, fenders and hoods. A complete 53 F1, tri 5 chevy stuff, a lot of international and dodge truck parts to the scrap yard, before I got involved.
But there is still a lot of old ford parts to go through.
I sent this in the pm, do not want to further go off topic in the build thread. Thanks again about location, forgot to set it.
