    HI Mike
David Lumb referred me to you.
Looking for the correct front center caps for a Excursion with Warn hubs. Bought a set of front center hubs with the same part number as
the back center hubs but they were to short. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your Service Sir! I also want to thank you for your write up on the axle swap. I bought an 04 X with the 6.0. looking at buying a 2006 F250 axle assembly (axle, steering box, steering components, springs, radius arms, calipers and brake lines). The axle was rebuilt in February and then the motor went to it really wasn't used. It has a Redhead steering box, new ball joints, new shocks, new 2 in level kit, new wheel bearings, new hubs, new calipers and rotors and same gear ratio as my current 3.73's. Does $1500 seem fair? I live in Utah so it is a little rusty on the axle itself. I plan on buying new coil buckets and radius arm brackets to save my self the heartache of removing rivets. do you happen to have part numbers handy? I thought you posted a picture of this but I couldn't find it again. Any idea if I could fit a 35 inch tire with that setup? do I need to replace the rear axle? Would this cause any fitment issues? one axle sticking further out than the other?

Mike, i bought an 08' frame section with axles , front driveshaft and steering gear. Looks like the coil buckets might be too tall approx. 15". are the 05' buckets that big?
    thanks for your help!

p.s. thanks for being a sheepdog as well! I purchased that book a couple years back for our kids..... by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman

Hello and THANKS for the front axle swap write-up!!! great job! In the process myself. I was wondering if you kept the 16" wheels or went 17" ? can you go either way with the 05'-2010 axles?

    thanks a ton! Bill
