    Hi there, I was told to contact you with sync issues. I just bought a used 2016 ford f-250 xlt. Sync, bluetooth, aux, everything worked as it should until about a week ago. Now anytime that I try to do anything other than listen to the radio ( sync, bluetooth, usb, aux cord) i get a very quiet sound and that is when the volume on my phone and the head unit is turned to "max."

    Software is up to date and I have tried a "master reset" Do you have any other suggestions for me to try out before I take it back to the dealer?

    I am having trouble installing Sync 4.6. I am following the instructions but it just doesn't work. File not found on the USB drive. I am an IT Analyst and am usually pretty good at sorting these things out. This one insn't working. My VIN is 1FTFX1CFXEKG18207. thanks for any assistance that you can provide

    Hello. I have a 2011 F-250 and have been trying to update my Sync to ver. 4.6. I saw on the thread that you might be able to help. I have downloaded the software, formatted a 2 GB USB drive and placed the unzipped files on that drive. Every time I try to do the update, the radio never seems to recognize the USB drive as containing software. Can you help? Thank you,

    Hello again, I updated my SYNC successfully. The My Ford site has asked me to report back, by sending a file back via the USB. I go to select the file they have requested, but it seems the site stops from there....the report file does not upload to Ford. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I have a 2013 Ford F350 with the Sync MyTouch in it. I am having trouble with the clock not wanting to update the time. I am having the same issue as the user in this post:

    Apparently I cannot send a private message until I've posted 25 times? I'm wondering if you would be able to send me the correct update files for my sync system? The dealer just performed "computer" upgrades, but was unable to determine if sync was a part of them. I just confirmed my versions are the same as before their upgrade. The chat person for the ford owners site said the site was having issues and updates could not be downloaded.

    Hi Cara,

    It says my last comfirmed update was Aug, 9, 2013 Gen1-v3.1. But my bluetooth no seems to drop a lot lately and I haven't received text alerts in quite a while. Also, it seems that somewhere there is a hard drive and some music is stored on that hard drive and I would like it cleared if possible. It's my music that I plugged in with the usb but some the system has stored in on the radio somewhere. Any advise?

    I have read and cannot find my issue.
    2009 Platinum.
    Syncmyride says there is a 'Dealer Installed' update available.
    I thought we could do the updates and that was the purpose of the site...

    Well i have read thru most of these postings.
    Nothing seems to apply to my situation.
    2015 F-250 Synch, no touch. just the screen for the radio and limited synch features.
    After working well for 2 months since i bought the truck:
    Two different droid phones paired and performed well.
    Nothing. No Phone. No Phone menu. No Synch at all. No response to pushing the phone button. No response to pushing the Synch button.
    So I can’t do a reset because I can’t get to that menu item.
    No joy calling 800 #. They did not seem to understand what the different buttons did when the system was working correctly.
    Thanks in advance for a solution.

    Hello, heard through the grape vine that you might be able to enlighten me on a Sync question. Selling my 2011 F-350 Lariat w/ Nav (upgrading to a '15 F-450) and need to wipe the Hard Drive before the new owner takes possesion. Haven't been able to find a definitive answer on the proper procedure. Need to delete all music & screen pics. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Thomas
