When you have a hot rod or similar type project, gas mileage is a moot point...never checked and don't really care to. Sorry I can't help you with your decision...

I'm curious to know what type of gas milelage you're getting. I was planning to run fuel injection on my panel but have decided to go carb instead, 290/350 crate engine

Hope you don't mind me posting the pics of your truck within your post, they keep disappearing so I put them in one of my galleries so I could post them as everyone was etching to see it. I'm very interested in how it all worked out because of the frame swop as I'm building on a 72 chevy chassie

Hey Kusto, Sorry for the responce time, ATT changed servers and messed up my email. I dont have a code but the paint is Sherwin William's Orange Crush. When the sun hits it it has a green flake\crystal that show up. I hope this helps, I probably need to do a little touch up here and there but with metal flake it's harder to touch up and be unnoticible than a solid.... Ed

If nobody else provides a hood spear, I'll see what I have. I believe the PO removed mine before the tree fell on the hood. The other truck I think had them on there, too. I'll gather up a complete set for myself, and see what I have left over.
