    The pump is for a 1978 Mustang II. I had to fabricate part of the bracket and weld it to the original to make it work on my 1965 model 289.

    I found it at a junk yard on an old Ranchero with a 302. I had to modify it and add the spacers to make it work. I have pictures of it here:

    Great looking motor picture...I am using a 351W and am curious what power steering pump and mounting bracket you used...they look great on the motor...thanks for any help!!

    Good morning BACAGrizz, I haven't been around for the past several months due to major illness. I'm back on my feet, slow, but improving everyday - at least that's what I tell myself... Anyway, I had to stop working on my 56 F100 due to the above, and now I would like to get back into the swing of things. My question is... is there a procedure I need to follow when installing the front sheet metal on my truck? I need to put back together the fenders, inner fenders, front air deflectors, grill and all that.
    I tried putting things on piece by piece but in the end, things don't quite align. Yes, the cab is straight and properly seated - to the best of my knowledge (which is minimum at best). Anyway, if you happen to have or know someone that may have insight - or better yet, instructions - on how to do this I would be greatly appreciated.

    It's a 1964 model 289 with a 5 bolt bell housing that I built engine mount brackets on the frame for. The motor mounts are stock units from Advanced Auto.

    I like basic and easy if I can do it that way.

    What kind of engine in in your truck?
    Also, where did you get the engine mounts for it?
    It looks like a pretty basic & easy way to get a different engine into an F1
