Yes we are still in Dupont. The bed belongs to Bill Sullivan his cell # is 812-447-8433. I had just talked to him a couple nights ago and he mentioned he had this bed for sell and I remembered your post about repairing yours. Hope it works out for you. Tell him I gave you his #. He is also a member here on FTE but I don't think he has ever posted anything but he does have a gallery you can see his truck. he goes by Bill53fatfender.

In one of your post you mentioned you were going to do some work to the bed (bed rails) of your truck. I don't know if you might be looking for a new bed or not but there is a fellow in Columbus who has one for sell. Let me know if you want his #.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I don't check messages like I should. The tailgate is a 1949. I got it from Northern Classics when I bought the bed. I didn't want the box letters. I don't think it would work if you use the stock chains but I wasn't going to use them anyway. Hope that helps and sorry about the tardyness

Welcome to FTE. You should jump into the forums and introduce yourself. Also put some pictures into your gallery so we can see your new ride. Again welcome.
