A little Hooraa for the F-350.... Note the picture above: 13.5k Lb. 5th wheel RV- 33 ft long,
2k Pin weight. 100 Gal water tank in the bed, foreward of the hitch. (850 Lbs). Another 200 Lbs of fire wood & stuff. 3 adults + a 5 yr old granddaughter in the truck. In the 5th wheel..... 2 - 17 yr old step-sons, 1 - 9 yr old, 1 - 13 yr old boys. 3 doggies (Greman Shepard, Rotwiler, Boarder Collie).
Canoe on the roof of the truck. Mild hills .... 65 mph. The truck had no problems pulling the load. 10 - 11 mpg. Acceleration and braking was Great. Comfy ride.... set the Rancho 9000xls at 6 front and 7 rear. The truck was level with the full load. Great Towing experience.
After camp was set up on the shore of Willow Creek Resivor , no one around except cattle. The next day a group of cattle came near us, a bull sharted to charge at the truck !!!! We tried yelling, no help. Then Star (The Boarder Collie) came to the rescue..... she went after the bull and rounded-up the whole bunch of cattle and herded them away from us. !!!! Wow, She earned a Treat !!
