The husband showed me his shop and I saw five 427 cross bolt main blocks, two sets of tunnel port heads, two sets of high riser heads, several sets of medium and low riser heads, a brand new in box two four barrel air cleaner, a five gallon bucket of cap screw connecting rods, several steel cranks no telling how many tulip stainless valves, and other stuff that, by then, I was a little too blown away to catalog.<br />

My wife asked if they would adopt me and I might have agreed if it meant being an heir to all that.  He also had a 1969 Mach 1, a 1966 Mercury Comet GT, 390 4 speed, and no telling how many 9&quot; rear ends and center sections.<br />
<br />
And some random 385, Windsor, and Cleveland stuff but by then, it was trivial.<br />
<br />
BTW, the rods had C7DE forged into the beams.  I'm not familiar with that particular number.  He said they were not LeMans rods, but Daytona rods.  Can anyone shed some light on that?  New one on me.<br />

NOS block. You can see the 3 cross bolts down low and the three brass screw in water jacket core plugs rather than press fit steel cups.<br />
Also drilled for hydraulic lifters.<br />
