I'm afraid I can't help you much here. I've installed bucket seats from an MR2 and was able to put the retractor on the side. My '61 does not have any existing holes to use so I had to install anchors for each attachment point.

Your 3 point seatbelt tutorial inspired me to purchase a set from Andover restraints, but my question is how did you find room to install the retractable portion on the floor behind the seat? Did you have to install a new anchor point or were you somehow able to use the existing hole.
