I'm from Perth - not too far from Ottawa. The body work on mine was more expensive than the engine swap as I got someone else to do it. If i did again I would do all the work myself.
7.3L is reliable so should be a great truck all round. Much better than the gas guzzlers that came in them.

Where abouts in ontario are you from? I'm from the ottawa area and plan to put a diesel in my dent as well, it won't be a Cummins, instead a 7.3L with a 5 speed because that's what I have on hand.
I hope my truck looks half as good as yours when I'm done though.
