No, the only time I took the truck in for the slip bump symptoms they blew me off and said it was my "chopped up truck tires." Of course, I had 235/70r17 Discoverer H/T's on at the time, so I wasn't too happy. Pointed out the slop to them and of course that was blown off, too.

I did the spline lube myself with the teflon ford grease (XG-8?) and that solved the slip bump issue for >10,000 miles now.

hey saw you had a post about slop in your trans shaft……i have the same at 48k did you ever get it fixed or???? I'm weeping fluid slightly now…..looking for a fix. 11 5.0 2 piece shaft thanks
