OK, thanks a ton. I would be in heaven on a 48 to 60 forum. I agree that the guys on the 48-60 are great guys.

I did remove one spring to lower the front just a bit. I don't remember exactly how much it did, you can see where it is now, it just looked too high before. Maybe 3/4 - 1" lower, I am not sure. The 2 forums used to be one, it was 48-60 instead of 48-56 and 57-60. So it was the same truck. The guys on the 48-56 forum are good guys, so they can answer any question you may have on a 56.

Hello, I was the guy with the 60 frame with 56 body asking you about removing a front spring leaf. My biggest question is how much did it lower the front end? Did you do it to lower the front end or for some other reason? Also what truck did you have when you were on the other forum? I accidentally bought my truck on ebay. I gotta stop drinking!!!!! As near as I can tell it's a long bed 60 frame that was shortened and then has a 56 body. Some work was good and some not so good. I don"t always know which parts are from which truck. Thought maybe you might have knowledge of both. Thanks for your time, Matt
