    hi dave I'm looking at a 67' olds 442 diff 61 1/2" axle flange to axle flange 3.54
    do you think that is to wide? using a 302ci

    Roy,
    I think the S10 rear would be too narrow, but it depends.
    What you want to use will depend on wheel size and rear suspension setup. I am running leaf springs on the outside of the frame like the original F1 design, so I am using a 1970-1981 camaro / firebird rear. Another rear which is the same width would be a 1968-72 chevelle rear. Original brackets have to be removed and new suspension brackets welded on for either one.
    If you are running a 4 link or super wide tires then you may want to mock up the tires and see what you need as far as width, wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.

    hi dave getting ready to look for a rear end to match upwith the jag ifs would a 2wd s10 chevy work some are using a 4wd s10 just wondering about 2wd
