Conversation Between Quad Racer and Beerstalker

I still love it. It's holding up well. I need to get a few paint chips fixed again, but don't know when I'll have the time/money.

It came unpainted and I had the dealership paint it and install it before I took delivery of the truck, so I'm not too sure how difficult it was. It's only 4 bolts though, and it wasn't all that heavy from what I remember. It still seems to be a bit too far to the rear, but I've never figured out a way to adjust it forward. The mounting bolts between the hinge and the hood only adjust side to side fitment. I couldn't get a tool on the mounting bolts on the fender end of the hinge so I'm not sure if that would adjust it forward or not. Now that I've got a set of ratcheting wrenches I probably need to look into that again.

How dod you like the ram air hood? I beleive they are just for looks on the V10. I saw a truck in person with one and was impressed on how it looked. Was it easy to install? Did it come painted? Thanks for your time.
