I'm sorry about this extremely late answer. I didn't get a notification that I had a personal message so I didn't know it was here. Anyway: The Calvan tool worked perfectly and was very easy to use. I've used it twice now..(unfortunately).. The first time took about an hour, the second time about a half hour once I had experience with it. The great thing is that it's n1ce and low so it is able to get in under the cowl area quite easily. The kit only comes with 6 inserts, which is kinda funny when they know you're dealing with 8 cylinders??? But replacement inserts are $25 each so not too bad. I highly recommend the Calvan kit! But you need to have a good 3/8" air ratchet like a Snap-on...I don't think the cheap ones will have enough power to drive the tools.

Just wondered how your repair with the Calvan tool went. I haven't heard from anyone directly how well the tool did or didn't work.
