Hi JWA, I thought you might be able to help me with the leak in my 1998 e-350 van. I can see exactly where the water is coming in - at the pinch weld behind the interior trim at the upper corners of the windscreen (just above the a-pillar). I've read a lot of your comments on this same problem on other threads. I had the windshield removed cleaned up and replaced (although the glass folks said there wasn't much rust and looked pretty good overall). The van continued to leak. Then, I figured that the water is somehow entering where the drip rail meets the corner of the windshield gasket, so I sealed all these cracks along with the entire gutter system with polyurethane sealant (Vulkem 116). It appears I still have the leak. I don't see how it can be the windshield seal that is my problem since the water appears to be coming in between the two pieces of metal just below the ws sealant. Thoughts?
